The LadyAID Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee is a philanthropic effort founded by GRAMMY award winning trio, Lady A – Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott – to bring awareness to numerous initiatives around the world ranging from helping vulnerable children, societal and cultural issues, as well as natural disaster aid and recovery. The multi-level campaign will focus primarily on the today’s youth to help provide a better tomorrow as well as supporting “sponsored” organizations through the fund.

Since opening 50 years ago, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has changed the way the world treats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. No family ever pays St. Jude for the care their child receives and, for every child treated here, thousands more have been saved worldwide through St. Jude discoveries.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 nonprofit children’s hospitals across North America, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. When a donation is given it stays in the community, helping local kids. Donations support research and training, purchase equipment and pay for uncompensated care, all in support of our mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
In 2012 myLIFEspeaks launched in the village of Neply, Haiti, with the goal of helping children with special needs who were cast out from their families because of the influence of voodoo culture. It quickly became clear that helping children with special needs also meant empowering their parents and relatives, developing the commUNITY around them, educating their peers, and providing the care and assistance necessary.
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, a freestanding hospital dedicated to serving only children, is nationally recognized as a leading provider of pediatric health care services. Experts treat and work to prevent all health issues ranging from common childhood conditions to serious, advanced diseases.
For more than 150 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America has enabled young people most in need to achieve great futures as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Today, more than 4,700 Clubs serve over 4.7 million young people through Club membership and community outreach. They provide a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun and friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis during critical non-school hours. Club programs promote academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.
The Oasis Center provides a wide range of opportunities that reflect the diverse needs of youth and their families, from crisis intervention to youth leadership and community engagement to college and career access. Each program is based on 4 key principles – Safety, Belonging, Empowerment, and Generosity.

LADYAID SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The LADYAID Scholarship Fund was established by Lady A to support students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities, in hopes of helping relieve financial barriers to higher education and empower Black communities around the country. The scholarship launches with schools in Tennessee and Georgia to honor the members’ home states, but is available for any HBCU in any state.

Established in 1967, The Community Foundation is an engine for positive change in Charlottesville and surrounding counties: Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange. The Equal Justice Initiative is a nonprofit organization that provides legal representation to people who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons. They challenge the death penalty and excessive punishment and provide re-entry assistance to formerly incarcerated people.

Leadership Music is an educational organization founded in 1989 providing programs designed to further communications and understanding among facets of the entertainment business and to assist established leaders in their roles as decision makers.
Middle Tennessee State is a mecca for those who feel called to be part of the music scene that offers real-world experiences and professional contacts to students. A program for students that want to manage or represent artists, market their songs to record companies and the media, promote concert tours or be involved in any aspect of bringing music to appreciative listeners.
Music Health Alliance is a non-profit organization providing the music industry with healthcare advocacy through health insurance, healthcare resources and confidential guidance.
The Nashville Rescue Mission is a Christ-centered community committed to helping the hungry, homeless, and hurting by providing programs and services that focus on a person’s entire life—physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and social.
The Onsite Foundation provides trauma-informed counseling and emotional health education that transforms individuals and communities. SafeHomes is committed to ending domestic violence through advocacy, awareness and education. Every person is treated with respect, dignity and understanding, and have an array of highly-specialized and comprehensive services to assist victims, regardless of the stage they are at on their journey.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee opened its doors in 1978 with commitment from several community leaders. The purpose of the organization is to provide a central distribution center for companies, groups, and individuals who wished to help provide food for hungry people in Middle Tennessee.
United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee serves the people of Tennessee with programs targeted to advance the independence and full citizenship of people with disabilities. UCPMidTN focuses on services to individuals of all ages and all types of disabilities, especially those that primarily affect mobility.
United for Puerto Rico was established to help provide Hurricane relief to the people of Puerto Rico.
