Lady A made their long-awaited return to the road launching the What A Song Can Do Tour. It was the first opportunity for fans to experience live music since March 2020, making stops at Uncasville, CT’s Mohegan Sun (7/29), Wantagh, NY’s Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater (7/30) and Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center. “Fans packed together singing along to the same tune and grinning from ear to ear” (The Day) as “Lady A served up some soulful Country” (Republican-American) with special guests Carly Pearce, Niko Moon and Tenille Arts.
“We are still beaming from this weekend and have missed the feeling of being in front of our fans,” Hillary Scott said. “I can speak for all three of us when I say there is this renewed sense of energy after being on stage and we can’t wait to continue riding this feeling all summer long.”
Lady A “will bring the harmonies and hits” (Detroit Free Press) as the What A Song Can Do Tour continues on this weekend. A portion of the ticket sales will go towards LadyAID, the group’s philanthropic fund which supports initiatives around the world ranging from helping vulnerable children, societal and cultural issues, as well as natural disaster aid and recovery.
